White doors are still super popular for a reason – they make hallways and smaller rooms feel open and airy, and they go with almost any wall color you might change later. We’ve had them for about three years and they hold up well if you do semi-gloss; scuffs wipe off easily compared to flat finishes. The only downside is in high-traffic spots they show dirt faster than darker shades, but nothing a quick wipe doesn’t fix. If you’re shopping, Trio Doors has a ton of pre-finished white options in different panel designs. Their interior white doors section was helpful when we picked ours – lots of photos and dimensions listed clearly.
